The grant of Cabeza de Santa Rosa was confirmed 30 September 1841,  to Maria Ygnacia Lopez [de Carrillo] by acting Mexican Governor Jimeno. The map below shows the final grant boundaries established by the U.S. 

Cabeza de Santa Rosa totaled over 8,800 acres.  The yellow star marks the location of the Carrillo Adobe and the red star marks the location of Maria Carrillo High School.
